BEER BELLY BUSTER

For years girls have been living with the belief that BODY BEAUTIFUL means ultra thin models sailing up and down a catwalk displaying the latest fashion,

Well times have changed and it would appear that it is now not only the ladies that are feeling the pressure, it seems Men have now fallen under the Body Beautiful spell.

Research shows that having a beer belly is the ultimate No go area, so here are just a few tips on how to keep a tighter rain on that expanding BELLY.

Not only does a Beer Belly not look good, but it is also putting you at a greater risk of Illness which can include, Diabetes, Osteoarthritis, Heart Disease, Cancer, Even premature Death.

Overweight people are usually stereotyped as Lazy individuals who do not care about their appearance, live on junk and fast food and stay well clear of exercise this is not always the case, here are some facts that play a major part in why even the healthiest of people may be struggling with that perfect six pack.

GENETIC MAKE UP:

This is unfortunately what you are dealt with, you may not be able to change your Genes but there are ways to help Bust that Beer Belly

Muscle Building , this is an ideal way of burning up all those unwanted calories as you will be burning more calories than Fat, Two or three session a week of a full body weight training session is a great way to start.

A good diet is also essential, If you are on the go all day with little time to maintain a full training session then Green Tea is the answer, it have been proven that Green Tea can raise your metabolic rate, so be drinking a few cups a day you could be burning off a few extra calories.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS / MEDICATION

Certain medical conditions and medication can make a real difference to your body, and can include sudden and unusual weight gain or loss, some drugs to watch out for include, Corticosteroids, Psychotropic drugs, antipsychotics, Steroids, and Anti-retrovial agents.

It would be recommended that you speak to your Doctor if you feel you are suffering from any side effects and get some advise on how to deal with them.

AGE

Why is it we take so much forgranted in our teens and early to mid twenties, it seems we are able to consume mountains of junk food and down enough beer to sink the titanic without the slightest fear of effecting that perfect washboard stomach, then we reach our thirties and it all gets harder to maintain, contrary to popluar belief this is not due to your metabolism slowing down but actually down to YOU slowing down and being less active.

So in order to help keep the perfect bod, you need to maintain your levels of exercise as you get older, try to keep up a regular cardio and weight workout, add a short brisk walk into you daily activites and most important maintain a healthy diet, cutting out refined sugars fried food, sweets and fizzy drinks.

BOOZING

OK lets face it, it doesn't take a lot, but Men can often get rather confused when calculating their calories consumed V calories burned, they think they are doing pretty well, but fail to understand why they still have a beer belly.

The major factor is Alcohol, they have forgotten to include ALL the extra calories that have taken in from drinking and remember BOOZE tends to go straight to the BELLY.

In just 3 pints you can accumulate approximately 500 useless calories that will just sit around in your ever-expanding BELLY.

Alcohol can also affect your all important serumtestosterone levels and you could run the risk of loosing up to 20% of your muscle mass. The less muscle your body has the fewer calories your body will burn, so more of your calories will be stored as fat rather then being turned into energy.

It has been recorded that over a million Men are consuming more than 50units a week this is a problem that should be addressed.

Here are a few ways to help reduce the risk of over boozing.

Setting yourself a weekly limit is a good start, a sensible level of alcohol for a man Is around 21units a week, however if your Belly is really bustin out then cut it down to around 14units, 1unit is a half pint of normal strenghth beer, small glass of wine or single shot of spirit. Try to drink a pint of water with ever alcoholic beverage this will help break down the......., So now you know the facts lets see some action.

BAD POSTURE

Couch potatoe, slouching, hunching, they all emphasise the appearance of a Beer Belly, so SUCK IT IN, Lazy stomach muscles make things appear much worse than they actually are.

Try holding in those muscles for 10 seconds before releasing, repeate this exercise 5 times ever couple of hours, it can be done anywhere, at home work, shopping, even while you are relaxing in front of the TV, simple but highly effective.
